Big Boy Bed?

So Dave and I are going to set up a big(ger) bed for Sam this weekend. He doesn't really have a problem with his crib besides the fact that he likes to kick and shake and it is getting REALLY squeaky. So squeaky in fact that, when he moves around at night I think it wakes him up. So I guess we will try this. I don't know how well he will stay in it. As far as naps go we might just be saying goodbye to those all together. **SIGH**

I put my little one in a bed at 21 months (that was March). Naps were a struggle for a while but she naps ok now again. (Taking away the pacifier caused more problems than the bed) Good luck!

Paden did really well with switching over to the big boy bed. He was in it for a week before he started getting out. That only lasted a couple of days and then he started sleeping in it again. Then we took away the binky. You know how well that is going. But for that I only have to threaten to take away the bowl!! :o)

Have hope...Gwen still takes naps in her bed! Just stay strong and committed! Even though you'll want to pull your hair out!!!

I fear the nap time too. I'm just going to keep Versii in his crib until it becomes a problem. So far he hasn't attempted to climb out yet. Good luck! I'll be there someday soon I bet.

Liza was better at taking naps in her bed than sleeping in it at night. We really only had a few rough days with the night time too. She's really good with charts and rewards. And I say stick with the nap. Kids can nap until they are in kidergarten if you keep it up. At least have "quiet time" for your sanity.

Glad that I have a while for that phase. What an innocent looking face. Good luck!!!
