Salt Lake

We were able to go to Salt Lake for a few days. Our Brother in law (Dave) Hirschi's parents, Steve and Marlene, were kind enough to let us stay in their home. Hirschi's dad Steve works at Heritage Park and got us in for free! The kids were able to ride pony's and do all kinds of pioneer activities. They really had a great time.
Steve is currently working on a miniature train that goes around the pond up there and we were able to ride it before the public.

We were also able to go to Temple Square and take a tour of the conference center. It was so amazing there. To sum it up in a word:HUGE!!

There was a new Joseph Smith movie playing and we didn't think we were going to be able to see it and then Marlene invited us to stay an extra night and offered to watch Sam so we could go. It was just like we inherited another set of Grandparents. Steve was even caught wrestling with Sam upstairs. We were able to see the movie and I was so glad we did. It was so awesome and spiritual. Thanks so much to the Hirschi's for being another set of Grandparents!

We were also able to spend some time with Dave's sister Bryn and her boyfriend Kyle. We had a fun time just hanging out with them and playing games a talking.

Dave's other sister Melia and her fiance' Devin came up from Provo and hung out, too. It was nice to see family and just relax and laugh together.

Sam lasted about halfway around before he wanted off.

Camryn went twice...she loves horses.

Here we are riding the train, Steve let Dave drive.

Fun! I love Heritage Park, it gives you a little taste of what it used to be like. BTW did you get a chance to eat at Pei Wei? If not, I'm sorry!! It's way good!!!

I'll get over the fact that you were 40 MINUTES AWAY and didn't call me. I'm just that nice. Also, that's the biggest dude in the smallest train I've ever seen. Priceless.
